Surface Binder
Surface Binder is a specially formulated coating designed to bind and reinforce the stone aggregate in a tarmac tennis court — an especially useful treatment for older courts beginning to show signs of age and surface “fretting.”
In addition to strengthening the wearing course, it serves as an effective primer that improves adhesion and helps extend the life of subsequent paint coatings. This is particularly beneficial in shaded or low-traffic areas of the court where paints tend to wear more quickly than on exposed, sunlit sections.
The Surface Binder is spray-applied across the entire playing surface immediately prior to repainting to ensure optimal consolidation and paint performance.
